oil leakage

oil leaking from the transfer case, around the seal of a square metal case with six screws where a rubber gasket appears to be bad.

I also had an oil leak from the transmission case not long after I purchased the vehicle second hand. I took it back straight away and got the impression that it was a common problem. They fixed it easily/quickly and told me it was a failed o ring. The service sheet described it as a NAG connector. Bit of a worry for me as the vehicle had only travelled 32000 Klms.
