2007 Hyundai Trajet Ignition Fuse keeps blowing

Last week my car blew the 30amp fuse for the ignition. It is the 2nd one on the left of the fuse box. I had the relay tested and it was gone so I got another and replaced the fuse. As soon as I started the engine (diesel) the fuse blew again. I haven't replaced the battery or any other electrical parts in the recent past. Have you any suggestions where I should do next.

A simple trick to finding a short is to replace the blown fuse with a pair of spade terminals, then use small jumper wires to connect them to a 12 volt light bulb. A brake light bulb works well. When the circuit is live and the short is present, the bulb will be full brightness and hot so be sure it's not laying on the carpet or against a plastic door panel. Now you can unplug electrical connectors and move things around to see what makes the short go away. When it does, the bulb will get dim or go out.

If the brake light bulb won't pass enough current, you can use a head light bulb instead. That will pass up to five amps.
