Here is my symptoms, I have chased for a while..
engine light on/off, d flashes occasionally, a/c runs hot when idle, temp gauge spikes when idle, engine fan runs after shutoff.

I am getting transmission fluid flushed and replaced tomorrow. Have had oil changed regularly, etc. Recently had dealer reprogram pcm assy, replace radiator, replace a/c compressor relay, fan relay and compressor relief valve.

any ideas for what is going on?

it may be an intermittent problem but wil have to be scanned for codes to see if anything comes up. it also may be the belt and tensioner are bad as it gets low electrical power then if you speed it up the light goes out . recommended replacement for both of those is 60k also check battery terminal ends for cleanliness
