Can you ask your car guys a quick question? 2007 Honda Civic and the brake pedel is spongy backing out of the driveway in the morning. Just the first startup. After that....its just fine! Thoughts? We took it in and had the front pads replaced...but still have the same problem!

Were the rear brakes adjusted? That can cause a soft pedal if they wern't adjusted.

I think so. I know they clean the rears etc. I know they check both sets. We told them about this when we took it in. Now they want it back.

Take it back and let them see if they can fix it. My guess is that they didn't adjust the rear brakes properly or not at all.

my wife told me that they adjusted the rear brakes. But they could have just said that
