this problem began with the radio cutting off when driving in the rain. later the radio would not work in rain or high humidity (live Coastal Georgia). Also noticed during this time that the red light for the security system stopped working. Now after I drive home in the rain, the next morning the car doe not want to start right away. I have had the battery and starter checked - both good.

Last visit to car repair shop could not "find" anything and told me to have the car towed in when it will not start at all.

What is wrong and where do I go to get it fixed?

This is a tough one since it doesn't happen all the time. However, when it does happen, have you ever checked to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine? An easy way to check is to see if the engine will start for a couple seconds with starting fluid. If it starts, there is no fuel to the engine. If it doesn't, there is no spark...

Let me know if you have done this or if you need directions.
