Mine is a Honda City 1500cc automatic transmission. Recent repair in a Honda Service Center included replacement of transmission support, and CVT fluid. My complaint before I entered it for repair was the vibration that I hear from the bonnet everytime I drive in reverse plus the intermittent jerking of the car. The mechanic solved the jerking when the car moves forward. But not when in reverse. This was the when both the transmission support and the CVT fluid were replaced. The Service Adviser said that the flywheel component is damaged and needs to be replaced to eliminate the vibration and jerking. I was tentative as the required work and spare part are expensive. Any ideas on what is causing the vibration and jerking? Should I heed the advise of the Service Adviser?

How sure is the SA regarding the flywheel components?
If the problem occurs only when reversing, I don't think the diagnosis is correct.
Either the engine mounts are bad or there is a problem with the transmission internally.
There are more than 2 engine/transmission mounts. Have the others checked as well.
