Motor sounds like it wants to die then it doesn't then does it's missing

Hello,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the Idle air control valve.
Many times if the IAC valve is dirty it can have an impact on the idle of the engine.
You can take the valve off and clean it. Usually that takes care of the issue.

It will also be a good idea to clean out the Mass air flow sensor.
As when it gets dirty it will impact the drivability as well.
