Chirping noise from engine, most advice was bad pulleys, so I changed the idler and the tensioner, but the chirp is still going. What other things could it be.

I have looked on you tube, and other pay sites, they all pointed to bad idler and, or tensioner pulleys. So, I changed the both of them, the belt log great, so I reused it.

Try this trick. Start the engine and open the hood. Take a small amount of water and pour it on the belt while it is turning. Does the sound stop or change? If so, the belt is most likely the problem.

NOTE: Water will most likely spray back at you, so protect your eyes and wear old clothes.

I was concerned it may be the cam shaft sensor assembly. I will try the water and hope for the best.
Thank you
