My battery light came on. I continued to drive hoping that it would go off. However, systems became shutting down and the car finally totally died with no emergency flashers, unable to restart car, etc. My husband replaced the battery. He went through the restart procedures to reset the engine, etc. per the manual. The battery light continues to come on and stay on. I don't want to drive the car with this battery light continuing to stay on. what do I do next?
