could the icp sensor be causing my problem and where is it?

have a miss or jerk running down the road and at an idle. pulled the codes and it said egr valve. pulled it out and was stuck and nasty. pulled the intake to clean it and put an egr delete kit. all new o-rings and and gasket for the turbo and new intake gaskets. put all back together code was gone but still have the miss. i did notice a small amount of oil under the truck. shows no other codes.
