Need to change the Blower motor resistor

Need to change the Blower motor resistor. Need location, is it under the hood or inside the cab somewhere?

i grabbed you two diagrams from mitchell i.......the 1st was "right there", so i grabbed it too

1) speed control

2) resistor

i also looked 'em up at the advance auto parts site, i guessed at your trucks full nomenclature and engine size.....since you did not provide it

i found four "exact fits" for a "xl" w/ a 330 cid

they ranged from about $22 to $99....i reckon, depending on the type you have............it's always my luck the most expensive one

are you just parts swappin', hopin' for a fix, or do you know for sure that the resistor is the problem?

if you need to purchase one, i may be able to explain a method on how to get auto parts cheaper....in my area, wait an hour, and go get it!
