2007 Ford Edge Battery Light Came On Replaced Alternator Alternator Charging

My battery light came on and I replaced the battery and alternator, The alternator is charging at 13.1 volts. THe battery light remains on, any sugguestion on what the problem could be?

voltage too low. should be 14.5 volts.

did you use a new or used??
