2007 Ford Edge Automatic Transmission Car Shifts Between 1st 2nd Gear Makes

Automatic transmission - when car shifts between 1st and 2nd gear, it makes a clunking sound. Only time it does it. Shifts fine through the rest of the gears. Do I need a new transmission?
