Mileage drops faster then the miles actually driven

Why when I fuel my car the miles to E drop faster then the miles I actually drive?

That info is based on set parameters from the pcm. Tire size, abs and many other factors are involved. Did you change tires size or wheels?

No I didn't do any of that I let the fuel level go real low before I got gas is there anyway to reset it

Not that I am aware of. Try removing the battery cable and installing.
