SOMEONE DENTED MY SLIDING DOOR, BREAKING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO THE LOCK HOW CAN I RELEASE THE LOCK TO OPEN THE DOOR AND REPAIR THE MONOR DAMAGE?

Can you pull back the trim to access the lock to trip it and open the door? no info on this car so i am just what may be best for yoy.
