What is the procedure for changing struts on a 2007 dodge 1500

You need a spring compressor. If you've never done struts before, this isn't really a do-it-yourself project. Besides being dangerous working with a spring under compression, there are things professionals do to reduce the chance of shortening the life of other parts.
