I have a dodge ram 2500 5.7 hemi 4x4 As I fired my truck up And was ready to leave work, when I put my truck in drive, it acted like it didn't want to move, the e brake wasn't on, as I was driving I was doing about 65-70 and the rpms were up to about 3000, and it never kicked back down. What could be the problem?

have you serviced the trans regularly??? is the fluid clean and proper level??

i would have someone scan the trans information to see if there are any failures internally.
