I have put two can 134 one yesterday and one today the directions with gauge say it should be between 40 and 50 however I can not get it over 35 and after I put second can in the compressor seem to be making a grinding sound, I can turn compressor button off and gauge rises and turn it on and it falls. When I turn on and off I can hear compressor clutches kick on but it kicks right back off.

STOP, You are fixing to destroy your system. The total capacity of this system if it was bone dry is only 1.37lbs so you are way overcharged. The system requires a precise amount of refrigerant. You are going to destroy your compressor if you haven't done it already. Those "death kits" they sell at the parts stores should be outlawed. You need to know both the high and low pressures and understand the relationship between the two. I suggest you get it professionally diagnosed by a shop that specializes in A/C repairs.
