lift gate problem

My Dodge Caravan model 2007 has a lift gate which is now stuck in an open position and won't close. It is suppose to be automatic and seems like it is locked. It wont close automatically or manually. what should i do?

is it cold where you are? they have lots of problems in cold.

is it cold where you are? they have lots of problems in cold. and some have solved theirs with new door latch assembly/switch. you could try operating your latch with screw driver(close/open) to see if that helps.
