Whats the difference between a soft and hard code? Is there a way to retrieve information once they are cleared? Is the dealership able to do that?

What do you mean by reflash? I'm just learning about car repair since our insurance company has chosen to only fix point of impact damage, leaving us with leaks in the cooling engine and beak line. Nice! Think it might be time for a new car.
