cylinder head gasket on a 2007dodge caliber, is it hard to replace?

Hello,
For some reason they only show the installation so you will have to go over the instructions in the diagram below backwards and then forward to do the job, start by disconnecting the battery and draining the coolant. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

will a repair manual help. I don't have alot of experience in this type of car. I have work on some older models. What would it be the main concern.

You should also need to send the head out to a machine shop for testing and resurfacing.

Car was overheating replaced tstat checked system had good water flow fan comes on but still overheats
found exaust blowing water. Does this indicate a head gasket? Aré ther any tricks I need to know about replacing the head gasket?

Before I say it is a head gasket, I would recommend checking engine compression to see if one of the cylinders is low. Keep in mind, condensation accumulates in the exhaust and can drip from the tail pipe.
