My battery light has started to come on about a week ago. I have bought a new battery and the light still comes on. I have had both my alternator and starter tested and both came back good. The light comes on when I gain speed to go 75 - 80 miles per hour at a long distance. My engine light has always been on and I have had repeated tests done and nothing seems to make it go off. Not sure what to do?

At that speed, my concern also turns to over charging of the battery if the regulator is bad. As far as the engine light, what codes have been found? Also, does the battery ever go dead?
