My engine tends to hesitate a lot these days, especially on inclines. Last week the engine stalled once while driving and it started after many attempts. My mechanic advised me to replace the valce seals at the earliest. Please advise.

Valve seals will not help here, get a compression test done to see if the engine is viable, if so do a full tune up.
