2007 Chrysler Sebring Matter Much Top Fuel Gas Guage Won T Read Past 3 4

No matter how much I top the fuel up. The gas guage won't read past 3\4 full.. So I never have a full tank according to the guage..how can I fix this simple but annoying problem?

either fuel sender has failed or the reading is correct and there is an issue in the tank.
