Multifunction switch replacement instructions

I have a 2007 pt crusier convertible, the turn signal that controls lights inside and out not working as will as the wiper controler not working is this a multifunction switch problem?

Yes, there could be another issue but this is most always a switch issue on this vehicle.

The way to confirm this is to check for voltage coming out of the switch. I am attaching the wiring diagram for you to be able to look for voltage coming out for the wipers. If this is causing the wiper issue then it is going to be causing the light issue as well. So let's just stick with this and go from there.

Assuming this is correct, I attached the replacement process on the steering control module which is what they call this on this vehicle.
