2007 Chrysler Pacifica Bought 07 4 0 Eng That Been Hit Front Damage Real Bad

i bought a 07 pacifica with a 4.0 eng. that has been hit in the front . the damage is not real bad. hood, grill, radiator, ac cond., fan. my problem is. the engine won't turn over. i put a bar on the end of the crank and can't get it to move. is there something that locks everything down when there is damage that has to be reset? the car had to be running when it was hit so i'm having a hard time believing the eng. is locked up. any suggestions. thanks rod

I would pull the spark plugs and try turning over the engine it may have a hydraulic lock, if that will not allow the engine to turn, i do feel that it will be seized.
