I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, the heat only works on the driver side, cold air blows on passenger side and in rear. Could this be the dash temp control button for the passenger side or a deeper problem it seems like changing from floor to defrost works fine

Problem should be the blend door actuators. Check the passenger blend door for proper operations.
IF there is heat in one area, that tells me there is an issue with the blend air door. The doors determine if you get heat or AC. If you have dual climate control, you have two blend doors. One is stuck or not operating. They are located near the heater core.
