Code po524 check engine light came on when I was going down freeway. My car has a lot of modifications such as predator chip oil cooling can etc. What can that mean?

That code indicated low oil pressure. Check the gauge to see if it shows low pressure. If it does, check pressure using a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see if the OEM electric one is correct. Often times the oil pressure switch will go bad and send a false reading.

I assume there is no knocking or ticking from the engine. If there is, don't run it until it is checked.
