radiator fan wont shut off

i have a 2007 chevy 1500 standard cab, the radiator fan wont shut off causing the battery to drain dead. What would be the most common part to replace?

What makes you so sure it's caused by a bad part at all? It could be a wiring issue too. It's a complicated circuit with 3 relays and 2 fan speeds, any of which can be stuck on. You're going to need someone to troubleshoot the circuit from a wiring diagram.
