2007 tahoe rotor removal

To remove rotor on 2007 tahoe do I have to remove the hub bolt or will the rotor come off from the ccenter hole. It seems very tight and i am not sure how hard to hit it to remove

The rotor should come off without neccessity to remove the hub bolt. For 1500 series the 2 holding screw have to be removed first.

Spray some rust penetrant around the center hole and use a hammer to bang as near to center as possible to loosen the rotor. Take care not to hammer the brake pad seating areas on rotor.
