Usually at first start. Very intermittent. Last time occured in morning when put in reverse. That time the truck was auto started to warm up. Radio was playing and then went out when put in reverse. Truck has touch screen radio with reverse cam. It blows the 30 amp Amplifier fuse under the hood.

There has to be a short. However, where is it. Check the wiring to the amp to see if there are any damaged or loose wires. If none, it could be internal in the amp itself.

Found it! A small wiring harness was routed next to the parking brake assembly (about 8 to 12 wires wrapped in black tape). When the park brake release is pulled it actuates a small lever to release the brake. The wiring was right next to it (prob routed wrong or out of its connector) Two wires were worn thought to the copper. Taped each wire and re wraped the whole bundle and then routed away from the park brake assembly. Found it by watching the radio flicker when the park brake was released.
