Test all your fuses with a test light when the problem is present. You probably have a bad contact in one of them.

You can buy a decent one for #20 or so. Try to get one that uses LEDs instead of incandescent bulbs because they won't harm the computer.

You test ALL of the fuses with the key on. You leave them in the socket. There is a metal contact on the top at each end. If you only have power at one side and not the other, the fuse is burned out.

Well I started having problems with my 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Currently the doors will not lock/unlock, the windows will not go down, the radio does not turn on, and also the interior lights do not turn on and also the ABS and battery light stays on. But it first started when the lights would not turn off and on the dash board it say unknown driver and also would not tell me what gear I was on. Then I unplugged the driver side speaker and thing went back to normal for a few hours then I got my current problems. So I would appreciate if I could get some help.

have you checked the fuses under hood yet then clean your battery terminals and have battery checked for condition including load test. a poor battery will do the things you are talking about. It may need scanning as well but a pro will need to do that.

a lot of times yes as well as dirty terminal ends. It may need scanning as the body module may be screwing up but it shold be scanned by a pro first

Yes the automatic transmission hasn't been a problem since I purchased it (2003 Chevy Tahoe). It's just the gear selection lighting has gone from fully lite to dim to can't not see them at all.

If it is just the light, chances are there is a problem wit the cluster itself or something as simple as a ground.
