air ride suspenion on my 2007 chevy tahoe stopped working.

air ride suspenion on my 2007 chevy tahoe stopped working. Dealer advised that the ride level module has shorted, and the compressor has frozen. My question is if the module shorted of course the compressor won't work, so should I replace the module 1st? Also is this a DIY type of job or do the dealer has to calibrate anything once the parts are installed.

Please help.

chekc your relay under the hood near the elecrical fuse box. the relay is for eht ecompressor. also check the fuses in the fuse box. as far a if you want to check what is what you'll have to trace the wires to check for power. You may not be getting power to the relay , hence the compressor won't work. If you replace the modulle it will have to be reprogrammed, that is at the dealer.
