I have a 2007 Chev. Suburban LTZ, 5.3, 4WD, load-leveling suspension. The FRONT :(shocks need to be replaced.
Are these special shocks?
What aftermarket brand & P/N is recommended?
I am getting mixed opinions from local parts houses. Dealer wants $400 each, parts houses @ $200 - $75 each. No one is sure. Please help.

As you were told in the other forum, it depends which system your truck has. they do have an optional front suspension leveling also. It looks like the coil spring suspension is the expensive one and the torsion bar suspension takes regular shocks.
