Propane odor

After towing a heavy load a long distance my 2007 Chev Suburban now has a terrible propane type odor. What can it be? Thanks

I guess the first question is do you have a propane power vehicle? Second I suppose it could be your catlytic convertor working overtime when you are hauling something. Hard to know without actually smelling it.
