my truck ran out of gas 3 weeks ago, but the gas gauge said i had 1/4 tank left in it. so i tried to judge by mileage, well that did not work so well because i ran out again today and now my gas gauge says i have 1/2 a tank left. so i put 10 gallons of gas in and the gauge moved up to 3/4. it is like the gas gauge reset empty at 1/2 a tank. is there a way to rest the gauge back to normal levels?
