I have followed the instruction manual to reset TPMS?

If my tires on my 2007 silverado require more air pressure than the truck states on the drivers door will that effect the TPMS I have followed the instruction manual to reset TPMS after rotating tires but I cannot get the horn to chirp no matter how long I adjust psi or wait after.

Just make sure you do not exceed the max tire pressure listed on the tire.
