I have a Silvarado with 6cyl. 5 speed and my question is what all I would need to do to change it over to a 350 crate engine and would it be less complicated to stay with fuel injection or a carb. I am not pleased with the performance of the 6cyl. at all or should I just look for a 5.3 my concern is to get all my guages to work with the swap.

anew computer intake, exaust manifolds torque converter. and it would be less complicted to stay with FI because your truck is drive by wire. If you don't like the performance then get another truck that has a 5.3 in it. Or put a higher gear in the rear end.
