Hello,

Whenever i switch on my car AC , check engine light stays on.

The cooling is fine, but much gas consumed.

The first thing you need to do is have the car scanned for codes and let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions? Thats the starting point also a scan tool that can read live data might be needed along with a multimeter etc to diagnose the problem.
