When the wheel is turned while moving at low speeds there is an audible pinging noise. I was told it could be a CV joint. Also, the door ajar indicator light is constantly on. What can cause this?

normally a cv joint will rumble. have a pro listen to it as noises are hard to give a correct diagnosis. the door ajar may be to a broken wire or switch that will need to be checked.

they are built into the door latches. you need a scan tool to read which one is reading open

check the door jamb to make sure everything is tight, then check the little button in the door jamb that goes in when the door closes, take it out and make sure the wires are connected properly and havent fallen off.

sounds like a door switch or the door itself is out of adjustment. you may need a scan tool to see what switch isnt working properly
