Wy is my car making a rattle sound inside the air condition syltem when the car is't even on . I open the door and a rattle sound comming from the bottem of the air contitioning system starts up for about a minute or more. and my battery is dead now . its been going on for about a week . I hear it comming from the air conditioning , but the air isn't on. every time I open the door it comes on. the car is'nt even on.

There's a door that opens for outside air or inside air. Mine was doing the same thing. If you open hood and on passenger side pull wiper up and take the plastic cover off. Then remove cabin air filter and look behind it u will see the little motor with the flap or door sticking and making the noise. I hope this helps.
