lost temprature display

Installed a JVC stereo in vehicle with a correct Metra plug adaptor and discovered that my tempature display in my instrument cluster has gone blank (---F) (*&@#!%$) Also lost my AM reception (yes antenna adaptor is used and secured) Any tips? This was a stock radio without the Bose system.

AM reception doesn't use the external antenna, it uses a wire wrapped iron core antenna inside the head unit.

I'm guessing you either loosened or disconnected the IC temp display.
