2007 Chevrolet Impala loss of power

driving down the hwy lost power and change oil lite and trac control lite came on so i am thinking transmission is in limp mode but also think it could be crank sensor

scan it first as it may be an abs problem and trans problem

Nope, the engine is going into limp mode and the reason for that is usually the throttle bore needs to be serviced. Here is a guide to help explain and I have included how to fix it in the images below.
