engine power reduced message, I checked the code and it said it was the accelerator pedal position sensor. Ive also been reading that most people with the same problem ended up replacing the throttle body after shooting in the dark. I dont want to just throw parts at it so i do alot of testing myself. If i disconnect the a.p.p.sensor or the throttle body will they have to be relearned when i reconnect them?

what is the code number??? codes never identify bad parts, just failed systems.

lets make sure of the failure before throwing expensive parts at it

You need to start a new question, and PLEASE list the engine size. Unlike other sites where anyone can post a reply, this was a private conversation between two people. It shows up on our list as having received a reply already, so most of us will not look at it or see your addition. That won't get you the help you need.
