Warning shows "reduced engine power"
What does that mean and how should I take care of this problem? I don't know if I should drive the car with this warning or if I should take it into a garage to see what the problem might be. I would really like to have some information on the cause of this warning before doing anything about it. This is the first time that I've had any warning about my engine and I have always had the car serviced every 3000 miles, so any help would really be appreciated.

Hi:
The reduced power occurs when the computer identifies something that can cause engine problems. What you need to do is have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.
