2007 Chevrolet Colorado truck wont start

the truck was not starting when it was brought from the dock a mechanic found out that there was no fuel coming so he change the fuel pump then it he got fuel but it would not start with out he spraying starting fluid then it dies it have no tb code and no check engine lite it just say no code found could someone help us with this problem plz thank you (i can make a donation but i would have to use western union on monday if its ok with you all because am planning on useing your service as much as i need too ok thanks)

To check to see if there is fuel getting to the throttle body, disconnect the fuel line there, run it into a bottle and then turn the ignition switch to RUN {not START}. Fuel should flow from the line into the bottle.
Check the fuel for water contamination and if it smells old
Also, check the fuel pressure on that line.

The fact that it starts when starting fluid is sprayed into it means that fuel isn't getting to the intake manifold (bad injectors, clogged line etc.)
