I have a cobalt let 2.2 l the windshield wipers come on for no reason causing my lights to to dim. It kills my car. It makes it where I can only drive it with my lights off.

It sounds like you have a short somewhere. Is there anything you are doing when this occurs. Are you making a signal or turing the wheel, tilting the steering column
