Last month trying to avoid hitting a couple turkeys I hit a curb going about 40 mph blowing both passenger tires and deploying the roof curtain airbags. Now my insurance company totaled the vehicle out due to the fact the passenger side curtain airbag was discontinued. So I chose to do a buyback feeling I would be able to fix my vehicle for quite reasonable price and it ran like a dream prior to me hitting the curb and deploying the airbag. Ted two flat tires quite a demonstration which I have replaced however the other room which I thought I had little to no damage I found out did have a slight bend. When the tire shop put the tire on the technician told me that he thought I wouldn't even notice the bend in the rim being bent it be better placed on the rear of the vehicle so I placed it on the back. However after I put the new tires on and took it for a drive making a noise sounding like wah wah wah wah wah and vibrations starting around 25 mph-35 mph on up. Now I'm not sure what is causing the noise from the research I have done, I've gathered it could be anything from an alignment issue possibly bearings etc. Now the tires that were remaining on the vehicle undamaged are approximately six months old approximately 6 to 8000 miles on them and of course I bought two new tires and put them on the passenger side the front and rear tires are different sizes. I purchased tires from tire rack. Com before I order them I gave him the measurement from a tread depth gauge on the tires on the driver side and they said there would be no reason to shave anything off to match them up perfectly do to the fact there was very little wear on the drivers side tires. Obviously I hit the curb pretty hard to deploy my airbags otherwise there was no damage done to the vehicle besides the flat tires airbags and the slightly bent rim right now I'm a little tight on money after the new tires and rims I bought already but I do plan on replacing that pentagram as soon as possible but presently I'm concerned about this noise that is going on like I said before the little scuffle with the curb my vehicle ran so smooth and was dream car for me I'm just hoping I can get it back to the shape it was an prior to the accident can you help me diagnose the noise thanks

If you hit a curb at 40 then there surely is damage to the tire like a broken belt which will give the sound you hear. But also the front end, wheel bearings and axles should be checked out by a professional not an amateur. It's probably that damage was done to the wheel bearing AND the rim. The rim should have been replaced. If it's bent they are aluminum an dis surely cracked as well

Well I did replace both tires on the side that was hit and the rim that does have a slight bend it has been checked over thoroughly and there is no cracke or anything and it was checked over by a specialist at Goodyear when they put the tires on for me and when he noticed the band he gave it a much stronger check before he sent me on my way with it but I do plan on replacing the rim that has the bend I'm just on a fixed income and have not been able to afford that other rim yet I do plan on having it more thoroughly checked over by a professional however before my insurance company totaled out the vehicle they gave me the list of the repair estimate from the body shop and everything and they didn't have anything in there about the front end or anything like that so but I do plan on having it looked over more thoroughly and what you've told me has definitely been helpful it just confirms some of my suspicions of some of the problems it may have i'm just praying that it's not too outrageous to get these things repaired

If the car was totaled it wasn't only for the air bag replacement. So it may be more $$$$$$$$$ to fix everything than you wan tot spend.
