Where is the ebtcm located. Would it need to be unpluged for engine removal?

No, I meant EBTCM. Electronic Brake Traction control Module. Have you ever removed the engine from a cadillac SRX? Your picture is not helpful at all.

No, I have never worked on this vehicle before.
The picture shows the location of the EBCM in vehicle and what do you expect us to show you?
