Speedometer/odometer stopped working today (panel not displaying any data). Where do I start? I am currently stationed overseas in Germany and there are no service mechanic here than can help me and I'm not sure if I would trust them even if there were.

Okay, then the speed sensor hasn't gone bad. Have you checked the basics (fuses)? If you have, and all are good, there could be a problem with the cluster itself. That would require it to be removed and checked.

So what would suggest if there or no Cadillac service centers anywhere near my location. Am I screwed?

That's a good question. I'm not sure what to say. Is there anyone that you can trust that can check it for you?
